What we offer.For Adults, kids and teenagers, we have a custom training program that fits your needs. Whether that is competing in the show ring, building a better riding foundation and horsemanship knowledge, or just casually enjoying horses on the trail. Our fabulous program horses will help every rider reach their goals. For children under the age of 5 Pony Pals is the perfect option! Our Riding lessons.
Lessons are available in both 1-hour privates ( for beginners or those wanting one-on-one coaching ) or in 1-hour semi-private lesson groups (1 -2 people)
If you are not already leasing or sponsoring a horse we have wonderful schoolmaster horses available for you to ride in your lessons.
Lessons and training are available in both Dressage or Hunter/Jumper styles. We can also offer a mix of both in a full-training or half-training lesson program.

A Typical Lesson Hour.
First, we’ll get the horse ready with grooming and tacking up, then head to the arena for warmups. At GHE, we focus on both the rider’s and the horse’s physical and emotional well-being—because a happy mind makes for a happy ride.
Lessons include about 45 minutes of riding, working toward each rider’s goals, and expanding on things from last week's lesson. Afterward, we cool down, untack, and give the horses their favorite part—treats!
A quick clean of the saddle and tidy up, and then it’s goodbye—until your next visit to the farm!
Important Notes!
Helmets:
There is a $5 helmet use fee ( to use one of ours ) if people do not have their own. But, we recommend getting your own, it is a great thing to have!
Riding Attire:
Riding Boots are required for all lessons and we recommend riding pants as well, jeans or leggings can work if you do not have riding pants.
24-hour Notice:
For all lessons, there is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Those who do not give 24 hours notice of cancelation before their lesson will forfeit the lesson and be charged.
Covid and Horse Safety:
Please wash your hands upon arrival to the farm and be mindful when in the common areas and barn.
